On this International Women’s Day, the EmpowerHer Life Foundation team, spent time with women and girls in the community – sharing food supplies but more importantly, sharing conversation, mentorship, encouragement, and hope.

These moments may seem small in the scale of global development.
But when a woman feels seen, supported, and reminded of her strength, something powerful begins to shift.

Because empowerment is not just about policies written in conference rooms.
It is also about what happens in homes, communities, and conversations where women are reminded that their voices matter.

As the world gathers for the Commission on the Status of Women 70th Session in New York, global leaders will focus on a critical priority: ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls – from dismantling discriminatory systems to addressing the structural barriers that continue to limit opportunity and equality.

Justice, however, is not only a legal principle.
It is the daily reality of whether women have the resources, support, confidence, and opportunity to live with dignity and possibility.

What the EmpowerHer Life Foundation team witnessed through this initiative was a powerful reminder:

When we invest in women – even through the smallest acts – we strengthen families, communities, and the very foundations of justice itself.

As these global conversations unfold, I remain deeply encouraged by the dedication of our team and the resilience of the women whose stories continue to inspire our work.

Because behind every policy discussion, every resolution, and every commitment are real women whose courage, resilience, and dreams deserve more than recognition – they deserve action.

Today, and every day, we continue the work.

For dignity.
For equality.
For justice.
For every woman and girl around the world.
