A Special Acknowledgment of Gratitude

As I reflect personally on this milestone, I must pause and express my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) – GRACE Initiative Team.

It was through their partnership, trust, and unwavering belief in youth leadership that I was able to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha. In my capacity as a member of the UNODC Youth LED Integrity Advisory Board, and as Co-Founder of EmpowerHer Life Foundation, the GRACE Initiative team worked tirelessly behind the scenes — mobilizing support, securing a donor, and ensuring that I could take my seat in a room where global decisions are shaped.

This was not merely financial support.

It was an investment in voice.

An investment in representation.

An investment in integrity-driven youth leadership from Africa.

Because of their commitment, I was able to stand in Doha carrying Kenya, carrying our communities, and contributing to high-level discussions on social integration, poverty eradication, and decent work. Their support reflects what true partnership looks like — institutions opening doors so that young leaders can walk through them with courage and purpose.
